The Game Was On August 12th vs. The Cincinnati Reds – Cubs Lost But All 106 Of Us In Attendance Had A Blast!
Every year our Cubs fans tell us they simply can’t bring themselves to join us at our annual White Sox outing but definitely would join us if we ever held a Cubs event. So, we finally did it and boy oh boy was it a lot of fun but the best part was that thanks to one of our great supporters who paid for everyone’s ticket allowing 100% of proceeds to go to Cal’s, we raised $20,000 – that’s enough for almost 27 wishes!
Ticket sales were slow going at first but being a family friendly event, great weather and a lot of fun including all the food you can eat, premium open bar and raffles for an Ernie Banks Autographed Jersey plus, courtesy of Best Buy, four tickets to a Saturday game which included the Best Buy Onfield Experience, we had 106 of our closest friends join us!
